In order to get the most comfort, tone and playability out of your guitar, we perform a basic setup consisting of  adjusting the neck relief and achieving proper string height by adjusting the nut and saddle.

Guitars that are not stored or cared for properly can often develop cracks in the tone wood. We repair cracks by humidifying the guitar, then cleating and clamping the crack so that it is stable.  

As guitars age, the tension of the strings tend to pull the neck out of alignment with the geometry of the guitar creating a difficult instrument to play and keep in tune.

Please store your guitar at 50% humidity.

Over time frets wear out from the constant pressure of the strings. Frets can be replaced and polished to bring your guitar back to life. We also do complete fret replacement.

As guitars age, you may notice that there is a small space between your soundboard and bridge. This is easy to repair and prevents further damage to the guitar.

Bridge pins, nut and saddle are key components to a fine sounding instrument. We can replace them with bone or ebony to enhance the sound of your guitar,
